it carries warmth, compassion, and hope from the community.
Heartfelt thanks to Dato Sri Desmond Loh for generously donating 800kgs of pet food to the shelter of Ipoh Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ISPCA).
Because of your kindness, the dogs at the shelter are able to enjoy a full meal today and rest with comfort.
More importantly, your compassion reminds these once-forgotten little souls that love and humanity still exist in this world.
Every contribution is not just food ,
it is a chance for them to continue living with hope.

一包包粮食，承载的不只是温饱，
更是一份来自社会的温暖与善意。

Today, with the heaviest hearts, we bid farewell to
Dato Dr Madhuri Majumder.

She was not only the founder of the Ipoh Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals,
but also a mentor and guiding light to many of us.

A truly remarkable woman filled with wisdom, compassion, and love,
she dedicated her life to protecting the voiceless and spreading kindness wherever she went.

She taught us that compassion is not merely words,
but a lifelong commitment carried through action and sacrifice.

Today, her passing leaves all members of the Ipoh Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in deep sorrow and heartbreak.
Yet the love, values, and spirit she left behind will continue to live on in every volunteer, every rescuer, and every life she touched.

Her legacy will never fade.
We will continue the mission she began to protect, to care, and to give hope to those who cannot speak for themselves.

Rest in peace, Dato.

In these difficult times, when the cost of living continues to rise and shelters are struggling to cope, every act of kindness means the world.
We would like to sincerely thank this newly opened pet food store in Ipoh for their generosity and compassion towards stray animals. Through their fundraising effort, they successfully collected 100 bags of pet food, with 50 bags donated to the shelter of Ipoh Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, helping the rescued animals enjoy a warm and filling meal.
This meaningful gesture, especially from a newly established business (ZUBO TRADING) , is not only a contribution of food, but also a gift of hope and kindness to the animals who have been abandoned and forgotten.
On behalf of our committee members, we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the shop owner and every kind donor involved. Thank you for extending your helping hands to these voiceless little souls.
Because of people like you, their world becomes a little warmer, and a little more loving.

A sudden fire took the lives of more than 20 innocent little souls. Amid the flames, we did everything we could, yet we were unable to bring them all out.

Watching each tiny kitten that would never wake again was heartbreaking beyond words. In the end, all we could do was lay them to rest with our own hands, so they would no longer suffer.

May they be free from hunger and cold on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge, running, playing, and living as carefree little angels.

一场突如其来的大火，吞噬了20多条无辜的小生命。
火光之中，我们拼尽全力，却依然无法把它们全部带出来。

看着一只只再也醒不来的小猫，心如刀割。最终，我们只能亲手将它们安葬，让它们不再受苦。

A tragic fire at an animal shelter in Ipoh last week claimed the lives of more than 20 innocent animals.
Although over a dozen cats were rescued, we could not save them all. The flames did not only destroy they left a deep wound in our hearts.

This painful loss reminds us of one crucial truth: prevention must come before tragedy.

We are grateful to Jackie for successfully raising 20 fire extinguishers to be distributed to animal shelters, providing an added layer of protection for these voiceless lives.

很多人以为，动物庇护所是狗狗的天堂，是被温柔包围的乌托邦。但现实，从来不是这样。

庇护所里，位置长期爆满，人手永远不足，粮食时常告急。
一只只曾被称为“家人”的狗狗，被遗弃在这里，
牠们或许到生命的最后一刻，都不明白"为什么曾经的主人，再也没有回来 " 。

庇护所里没有童话，
只有日复一日的清理、喂食、救治与坚持。
那刺鼻的屎尿味，是现实；那一小盘简单的狗粮，是牠们赖以生存的一切。

今天，一班来自拉曼大学的学生义工走进庇护所，亲身体验这里的每一份不易。他们带走的，不只是回忆，更是一份对生命的重新理解与尊重。

而我们，也真诚呼吁～怡保防止虐待动物协会庇护所，仍需要社会各界的支持与帮助。

一包粮食，一份捐助，一点关注，都能让这些被遗忘的生命，多一分温饱，多一分希望。

让牠们知道，这个世界，仍然有人尊重与在乎牠们。

Many people think animal shelters are a paradise for dogs a utopia filled with warmth and care.
But the reality is far from that.

Shelters are constantly overcrowded, understaffed, and often short on food.
Dogs that were once called “family” are abandoned here,
and perhaps until their very last day,
they will never understand why their owners never came back.

There are no fairy tales here
only the daily routine of cleaning, feeding, treating, and enduring.
The pungent smell of waste is real;
that small portion of simple dog food is all they have to survive.

Today, a group of student volunteers from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman stepped into the shelter,
experiencing firsthand the harsh reality behind it.
What they took away was not just a memory,
but a deeper understanding and respect for life.

We sincerely appeal to the public the SPCA Ipoh shelter still needs support from all walks of life.

A bag of food, a small donation, a little attention each can bring these forgotten lives a bit more warmth,
and a bit more hope.

Let them know, that in this world, someone still cares.

Amid global instability, conflict in the Middle East has driven up oil prices, triggering a chain reaction that continues to push the cost of living higher. For animal shelters, even providing a simple meal has become increasingly difficult.
Today, under the scorching 37°C heat, volunteers and staff carried 30kg bags of pet food on their shoulders, step by step into the shelter. Their backs soaked with sweat, they pressed on—just to ensure that the more than 300 abandoned lives here will still have a warm meal to rely on tomorrow.
Yet, the reality remains harsh. The current supply of food is only enough to last for one week.
The Ipoh Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ISPCA) sincerely appeals to the public: during this challenging time, we hope you can extend a helping hand. Whether it’s a bag of pet food or a contribution of support, it means a chance for them to survive.
在动荡的国际局势下，中东战火推高油价，连锁反应让物价节节攀升。对动物庇护所而言，每一餐温饱，都变得更加艰难。
今天，在37°C的烈日下，义工与工作人员肩扛着30kg的宠物粮，一步一步走进庇护所。汗水浸透衣背，但他们没有停下，只为了让这里三百多只被遗弃的小生命，明天依然有一餐可依靠的温暖。
然而，现实依旧严峻。现有的粮食，仅仅足够维持一个星期。
怡保防止虐待动物协会诚挚呼吁：在这段艰难时期，希望社会大众能够伸出援手，无论是一包粮食，还是一份支持，都是牠们继续活下去的希望。
