Assalamualaikum😁
Harini lunch kita masakkan menu bukan melayu sebab ibu Request suruh masak ayam pakai gochujang katanya sedap so kita buatkan lah ayam korea or Yangnyeom-tongdak (seasoned fried chicken). Recipe is below. Resepi dia senang and masak pun x susah. Trust me. Its simple 😎
Ingredients:
1kg chicken (cut into small size)
1/2 cup potato or cornstarch
1/3 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 large egg
Mix all above altogether and double fried. How? First fry, fry until the chicken is light yellow. For the first fry, don’t fry until golden yet. Rest the chicken for 10 mins and then second fry until golden.
Sauce recipe:
3 garlic cloves (crushed/minced)
1/3 ketchup
1/4 cup gochujang
1/3 cup corn or starch syrup
(If don’t have can substitute with 1/4 cup sugar. Can put less for less sweet) *I put less*
3 tsp white vinegar
1 tbsp toasted sesame seed (optional)
For those who want a little bit spicy can add some bird eye chillis (cili padi).

Stir fry garlic, and mix all above and cook for 2-3 mins medium heat. Can add some water if the sauce is too thick.
Then mix in the chicken into the sauce, stir until all is well coated and serve😄. Enjoy😍
