Sometimes, it's just bigger than BBQ. ❤️

This weekend, 51 teams came together in Seguin, Texas, for the 1st Annual Ty Machado BBQ Memorial. A weekend dedicated to supporting the Machado family, honoring Ty's memory, and celebrating a life that brought so many people together.

That's what makes this BBQ community so special. When it matters most, people show up.

And somewhere in the middle of a weekend that meant so much, we got to celebrate a pretty special moment of our own!

🏆 Reid took home 1ST PLACE in the CBA Future of BBQ Steak competition! With that win, he punched his ticket to the Junior World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest in Memphis this May! Super proud of you Bubba!

LC BBQ had a solid weekend on the competition side as well!

We've won 1st place brisket 60 times over the years... but these 2 hit different!

In 2024, we walked across the stage in Lynchburg, Tennessee, and collected the 1st Place Brisket barrel head at the Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational BBQ with a PERFECT 180!

Fast forward to 2026, and we did it AGAIN!

Two 1st Place Brisket wins. Two PERFECT 180s. Same stage.

I've had a lot of people say to me, "I need a brisket class."

Well... we have one! And you can take it TODAY!

That's a wrap on the 2026 Royal Oak Invitational in Roswell, Georgia! 🔥

What a weekend! Royal Oak Charcoal rolled out the red carpet once again, bringing together some of the best teams in barbecue for an incredible weekend of competition, camaraderie, and good times!

We were fortunate to finish 4th OVERALL in a stacked field of 38 teams, putting up a 704.5372 and bringing home another KCBS 700 Club pin! 💪

🐂 3rd Brisket
🥩 5th Anything Steak (Nice job Bubba you rocked it!)

Man, we were knocking on the door! Just over a point separated the top four teams... it was tight the top

A huge thank you to everyone at Royal Oak Charcoal for another first-class event. From the hospitality and incredible food to the bourbon, laughs, and friendships, these folks know how to put on a show!
