If you're headed south, be aware that travelers driving into Mexico are being stopped at the border and asked to see proof of registration and separate insurance for Boats/ATVs/UTV's/Side-by-Sides, etc. Please note that having the Boat & ATV listed on your Mexican auto insurance as a towed unit is not sufficient.

Each self-propelled vehicle needs to have its own insurance and registration (even if your state does not require you have it registered). Guardian Insurance / Lima Insurance can issue the required liability policies with the option of full coverage on those types of vehicles. Grateful moments like this are why I do what I do. 💙

This client was involved in an auto accident here in **La Paz**, right in the middle of preparing a move back to the **United States**. With a very tight deadline, his vehicle needed to be repaired within **three weeks** so he could get back on the road in time. AXA claim has been finalized.

Thanks to close coordination, persistence, and working directly with AXA, the repairs were completed, and he was able to return to the U.S. on schedule without added stress during an already difficult transition.

The claim was paid with added funds for expedited parts for the repair from the initial claim offer from AXA!

This is exactly why having a **good, responsive insurance agent in Mexico** matters.
