SYPN Malawi joined the Reserve Bank of Malawi in commemorating Global Money Week under the theme “Learn, Serve, Earn.” During this initiative, the Network emphasized the importance of young people actively engaging in conversations about money, encouraging them to ask the right questions, seek guidance from informed individuals, and cultivate a strong culture of saving.

These discussions are essential in empowering youth to develop sound financial habits, avoid common financial pitfalls, and take charge of their journey toward long-term financial well-being.

As part of the campaign, SYPN Malawi conducted financial literacy sessions across the country, reaching the following institutions:

- MUBAS
- Nalikule College of Education
- Athens 1 Private School
- Chichiri Intensive Private Schools

From 23rd to 24th October 2025, SYPN Malawi successfully hosted its 5th Annual Conference at Kambiri Beach Resort in Salima District.

Held under the theme “Youth Leadership in Motion: Creating Solutions that Drive Change,” the conference motivated young professionals to embrace leadership roles, seize emerging opportunities, and design sustainable financial solutions for their future and their SACCOs

MUSCCO, in collaboration with the Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM) as part of the Global Money Week calendar, conducted financial literacy training for secondary and college students across Malawi! 📚💡
Participating institutions included:
✅ Advent Private Schools
✅ Stephano Foundation
✅ Malawi School of Government – Lilongwe Campus
✅ University of Blantyre Synod
Under the theme "Think Before You Follow," these sessions aimed to equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to make informed financial decisions, build resilience, and achieve long-term financial well-being

SYPN Chapter 2 - Tree Planting Exercise

On 26th February, 2025, SYPN – Chapter 2 organized a tree-planting exercise at Nchezi Primary School in Lilongwe as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. This activity aligns with our commitment as youth in SACCOs to contribute beyond financial services by actively participate in environmental conservation efforts. Through such initiatives, we support the broader national goal of environmental sustainability outlined in Vision 2053
