This post delves into the common misconceptions of Stock Market Investing.📈

One misconception is that investing is gambling. This could not be further from the truth. Although investing caries various risks, there are methods of financial analysis and risk management strategies that help investors make informed decisions.🤔

Another misconception is that investing is exclusively for experts. While investing requires some thorough understanding of company fundamentals and market dynamics. Investors do not require certifications and qualifications to hold an investment portfolio.📁

One other misconception is that investing requires a lot of money. The stock market offers different opportunities for different investors with different risk appetites and capital big or small. On the Malawi Stock Exchange (MSE), investors can invest in as little as 1 share.📋

And lastly, there's the misconception that investing is unprofitable and offers little return on investment. A lot of investors tend to judge the market based on its ability to generate short-term income. It is important to understand that while your investment can rapidly grow in the short-term, equities are long-term investment assets. Some stocks such as FDHB and NBS have generated a market return in excess of 1,000% in the last 5 years.📊

Since then we've held many more cohorts, changed our business name to Asset Master Markets and by this day we're an incorporated private investment company with ambitions for capital market intermediation some day. So we thank you for joining us on this journey and making us who we are today!
