At the AfrAsia Foundation, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and dream bigger, because stronger communities begin with empowered young minds.

On Saturday, 18 July, we celebrated a proud milestone as 53 children graduated from the third edition of the Children's University AfrAsia Foundation (CUAF), held at the Institut Français de Maurice.

Delivered in partnership with the University of Adelaide, CUAF continues to spark curiosity, nurture confidence and inspire a lifelong love of learning beyond the classroom.

This edition marked our most successful yet, achieving an outstanding 88% graduation rate, our highest since CUAF was launched in 2022. Congratulations to our 53 graduates and their families. Our heartfelt thanks also go to our partners, Ti Rayons Soleil and SAFIRE, whose support helped make this journey possible.

This weekend, AfrAsia Bank was proud to stand alongside The Siem Together Foundation and Breast Cancer Care Mauritius for the inauguration of the Géraldine Toussaint Breast Cancer Care Centre at Dr Bruno Cheong Hospital in Flacq.

As the sixth care facility established by Breast Cancer Care Mauritius, the centre will provide free weekly consultations and psychological support, bringing essential services closer to women across the region.

Breast cancer awareness and early detection have been a key focus of our Health pillar since 2014. Through ongoing partnerships, more than 4,000 breast cancer screenings have been facilitated across Mauritius, helping to ensure that vital care remains accessible to women across the island.

This marks another important step forward, proof that when organisations unite with purpose, real impact follows.

Just days ago, our AfrAsians came together for a day filled with passion, friendly competition and team spirit as 10 teams battled it out for World Cup glory.

The tournament led to two memorable showdowns, with France taking on Spain in the men’s final and England facing Brazil in the women’s category.

Tonight, France and Spain meet again, this time in the World Cup semi final, with both teams hoping to secure their place in Sunday’s final.

A familiar fixture. A much bigger stage. The same passion for the beautiful game. Because football is about more than 90 minutes. It is about the energy we share, the connections we build and the moments we create together.
