AfrAsia Bank delivered a strong performance, with Profit Before Tax rising 15% year on year to MUR 8.9bn. These results underscore the resilience of its business model and the strength of its strategy. Commenting on the performance, Vishal Joyram, CEO of AfrAsia Bank, said: โ€œOur financial performance for the year ended 30 June 2026 reflects sustained growth and resilience, supported by a diversified strategy that positions the Bank for continued progress. Growth in operating income and higher revenues across all business verticals drove this performance. Deposit growth of 20% further signals strong client confidence. A look back at the Mauritius Finance Roadshow in Cairo, where our Chief Commercial Officer, Navin Ramdoyal, took part in a fireside chat with Egyptian business leaders, exploring how the Mauritius International Financial Centre (IFC) can support their cross-border ambitions and connect them to opportunities across Africa.

Bringing together institutional investors, wealth managers and financial professionals, the event provided a platform to exchange perspectives on cross-border investment, regional expansion, private capital and wealth and estate planning for HNWIs.
