🛠️ Our client, BOSSS Mauritius is looking for a Safety Equipment Technician. Join a leader in marine services and help uphold safety standards across both local and international waters.

📍 BOSSS Mauritius (Local & International Candidates Welcome)

About the Role: Service and inspect marine safety equipment in line with national and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Service lifeboats, davit systems, liferafts, and firefighting equipment
* Complete and submit accurate service reports
* Maintain facility compliance and manage certification renewals
* Transport equipment to/from the port
* Advise clients on spare parts, repairs, and HSE improvements
* Travel for on-site services or technical training (locally and abroad)
* Assist in other branch-wide tasks as assigned
* Undergo regular performance reviews

What You Bring:
* Strong command of English (written and spoken)
* Valid driver’s licence and passport
* Certificate of good character
* Flexibility for overtime, weekends, and short-notice travel
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office
* Bonus: Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems

Reporting To: Senior Technician & Branch Manager

Working Conditions:

📍 BOSSS Mauritius

Your Role: Support the Operations Service Coordinator to ensure seamless marine operations.

What You’ll Do:
* Handle customer enquiries and prepare quotations
* Open and close vessel files according to company procedures
* Coordinate documentation and final service reports
* Liaise with shipping agents on vessel schedules
* Ensure accurate quotations and track margins in Odoo
* Control stock levels and manage invoicing
* Assist with additional operational tasks as needed
* Maintain a tidy workstation and a positive team dynamic

Requirements:
* HSC leaver or higher
* Good knowledge of Word and Excel
* Strong verbal and written English
* Own transport and valid passport
* Flexibility to work outside regular hours, including weekends

📍 BOSSS Mauritius (Local & International Candidates Welcome)

Your Key Responsibilities:
* Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash
* Oversee accounts receivable and payable
* Maintain stock reports and analyse variances
* Handle general bookkeeping, accounting software, and day-to-day office tasks
* Support the Branch Manager and Head Office Finance team with ad-hoc admin needs
* Take part in biannual performance reviews

What We’re Looking For:
* Entry-level finance qualification (a degree is a plus but not mandatory)
* Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting/admin with verifiable references
* Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with accounting software is an advantage
* Solid understanding of accounting principles and strong communication skills
* Fluent in written and spoken English
