Reporting to - Head of HR & Admin
As a HR Executive (Learning & Development), you will be responsible for supporting employee learning and capability development through the coordination and implementation of training programs and development initiatives. You will identify training needs in collaboration with department heads, organize internal and external training sessions, maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness. In addition, you will assist in preparing training materials, reports, and development plans while promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth across the organization. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure learning initiatives align with business and operational needs.
Roles and Responsibilities
-Identify training and development needs through coordination with department heads and performance feedback
-Design, develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and learning materials to improve employee performance, soft skills, and technical skills
-Coordinate internal and external training sessions, workshops, seminars and employee development activities
-Manage the orientation and induction process for new hires to ensure they are well-integrated into the company culture
-Maintain training records, manage the employee learning database, and support digital learning initiatives where applicable
-Monitor employee completion of mandatory learning programs and report any outstanding requirements to management
-Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessment, and post-training reviews
-Prepare training schedules, attendance records, post-training evaluations, and management reports
-Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives as assigned
-Oversee training budgets and coordinate with external trainers or vendors to ensure alignment with operational needs
-Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth across the organization
-Other duties required by the organization
Job Qualifications and Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field
-Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience in Learning & Development, training coordination, or related HR functions
-Strong preference of candidates with direct experience in microfinance or financial services industry
-Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills
-Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple training activities simultaneously
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) for creating high-quality training reports, presentations, and documentation.
-Proactive and self-motivated with a strong commitment to contributing to employee capability building and organizational development initiatives
