Forvis Mazars in North Macedonia celebrated the official launch of its brand at the Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton. The event was attended by 240 guests, including esteemed colleagues, clients, and institutional representatives.
The launch event opened with a speech by Loic Wallaert, Co-Chair of the Central & Eastern Europe regional board, who expressed his joy in welcoming North Macedonia into the Forvis Mazars Group family. Wallaert highlighted the importance of our market and emphasized how this expansion aligns with the firm’s global growth strategy. He mentioned, “Each time I come to your lovely country, I am impressed by the development of the economy and by the fact that the country ranks in the top 20 for the ease of doing business.”
The Managing Partner of Forvis Mazars in Albania & Kosovo, Teit Gjini, followed Wallaert with a speech underlining the significance of the launch for the broader Balkan region. Gjini expressed pride in his role in encouraging the establishment of Forvis Mazars in North Macedonia, noting that the firm’s expansion completes a crucial piece of the firm’s presence in the region.
Jane Ivanov, Partner in charge of Audit, Financial Advisory Services, and ESG in Forvis Mazars, reflected on the long professional journey with her colleague Nenad Randjelovic, Managing Partner responsible for Accounting Outsourcing and Tax Services in North Macedonia. Ivanov shared their vision of growing the firm and passing their knowledge and experience to the next generation of professionals.
Randjelovic, in his address, highlighted the long history of the firm in North Macedonia, dating back to 1991. He spoke about the transformation of the firm over the past 30 years and its recent affiliation with Forvis Mazars Group, ensuring that the legacy of the founders continues to thrive.
