Montenegro is now one of my favorite places all around. It is one of the most beautiful countries I have been to. The driving is intense but the views are totally worth it. Add the bay of Kotor area to your list.

On a whim based on pictures I had seen on my computer screen saver we decided to go to the Puglia area of Italy and we were not disappointed. The rich culture dating back to the stone age and Roman era is apparent. I can send you tips on which cities we went to and loved.

The Amalfi Coast in Italy is an amazing place. Some of the most beautiful views combined with ancient European charm. Unlike anything else you can find in the world and only a few hour trip from Rome. Pro tips: go in October there are less crowds (but not the very last week because things shut down), the roads are crazy enough you don't need more buses and cars.

Romania was an interesting experience from the polenta to the salt mines to Dracula's Castle. The fall setting with the leaves changing and less crowds was perfect. For a unique and a bit cheaper European experience I would recommend it. It was also interesting to see how the effect of communism played a large part in the entire structure of the country.

The San Blas Islands in Panama were truly a treat. I never thought I would love to be in the middle of nowhere with the most beautiful water and amazing wildlife. Where the only people around are the native local people and the way you buy your food is from a veggie boat that comes some time some day and you hope to be home when they come. This place and trip will always have a special place in my heart.

The Lost City hike. 60 km in 4 days. We went into it thinking the boys could get some assistance with a mule but the guide thought walking was the best way. They are one of the youngest kids to complete this trek walking the entire way, and sometimes running too. I'm so proud of them. Hiking is more than just enjoying nature it was a huge learning experience for them to learn patience, team work, gratitude, determination, endurance, appreciation, delayed gratification, mind set, and we got to learn all about a new culture. I would highly recommend this hike. It is one of the most challenging with steep climbs and huge descents but the views are worth it.

We had the best time ever in the LA California area visiting Morgan Bracken Kohler and Frank Kohler and Anton Yemelianenko and Kateryna Yemelianenko. They were the most amazing hosts and showed us all the cool spots. We had so much fun enjoying summer break playing at the beach, the house and the pool. Morgan and I were college roommates and now our kids are best friends. Hopefully we can visit everyone again soon!!

First stop, Yosemite and Sequoia national Park. Our friends from Puerto Rico showed us an amazing time Marilyn Siebert and Ben Siebert. We had an unforgettable family friendly trip hiking 6 miles up Verna falls along with seeing the biggest tree in the world. I would highly recommend these spots in and around Fresno California. We will never forget their hospitality and kindness with us and the kids.

I can honestly say I have never felt like part of a family of girls so quickly in my entire life. There is something super special about these girls and our amazing coaches. I learned more than I could ever imagine about them and myself in just a few days in Vegas. Miss you all!

We had the best ski trip to the French alps with our friends. We couldn't have asked for better weather and even some snow. The boys went from crying we don't know how to ski plow to crushing green slopes and making it down blue trails with amazing scenery. I would highly recommend La Plagne was perfect for us, kids under 5 are free, there are some free trails and the adult ski pass was anywhere from $30-58 a day. Hopefully we can go back again soon!
