This week, we shine the spot light on Mr. Cyrus L. Greene as our personality of the week.
Mr. Greene is the Marketing Manager of SAAR Insurance, one of Liberia biggest and reliable insurance company.
Mr. Cyrus L. Greene, II started of at the bottom of the Professional ladder 🪜 while in exil and worked his way through to becoming a manager.
In 2010, Cyrus and his parents along with some Americans Co founded a Foundation named "Middle Grounds Foundation" (MGF)*. The MGF ran a free Primary School which feed, clothed, uniformed, and provided academic essentials for poor and underprivileged Liberian Refugee Kids on the Buduburam Refugee Camp. In the same School, he served the capacities of Administrator, Financial Secretary and Teacher.
Upon his return to Liberia in 2012, he was reintegrated and started of as a Web Administrator and Program Associate at a local NGO, the Institute for Research and Democratic Development (IREDD), formerly Liberia Democratic Institute (LDI).
At IREDD he worked on several projects, prominently amongst which is the *IREDD Legislative Score Card Project, a longstanding famous Progect which is famed for naming Legislators as "Bobo Law Makers".
In persuiant of his dream of becoming a top corporate executive professional, in 2015, Cyrus left the NGO sector and got employed at SAAR Insurance Liberia as a Marketing Officer.
Base on his performance and dedication, In no time he was promoted to the position of Marketing Supervisor and as early as 2017, he was offered the vacant Marketing Manager position, a Position he still serves today and admirably too.
In his role as Marketing Manager, cyrus has help grow the company portfolio and increase the company market share to becoming the leading Insurance Company in Liberia.
