👋 Meet Mustafa, one of our Software Engineers!

🙋‍♂️ Tell us a bit about yourself!

I am from Syria but am currently based in Georgia. I am a full-stack engineer and have been part of Zoya’s team for over a year now. I am self-taught and specialize in Node.js, React.js, Mongo DV, and Python. Whilst on my journey of searching for Shariah compliance data back in late 2020, I came across Zoya.

👨‍💻 What do you do at Zoya?

I started out as an intern at Zoya and have transitioned into working as a full-stack software engineer (although I’m still referred to as the ‘intern’).

📚 What’s your favorite book/movie?

I’m not a big fan of movies, but my last good read was "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho.

🎯 What are your hobbies?

Back in high school, I learned how to make bakhoor, and it’s now something I love making.

✨ What’s a random fact about yourself?

Despite my love for software development, I am currently in my 6th year of medical school 👨‍⚕️
