Last week, the Second South Pacific International Arbitration Conference, “Enhancing the Rule of Law & Increasing Business Confidence in a Globalized Economy,” took place in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. UNCITRAL RCAP co-organised the event with the Asian Development Bank, Supreme and National Courts of Justice of PNG, PNG Department of Justice and Attorney General, PNG Law Society, Republic of Korea Ministry of Justice, and other partners.

[Internship Opportunity]

We are now recruiting interns who are interested in international trade law and would like to have a taste of working with us:

Duration: 2 - 6 months (starting date within 1 April - 30 September 2019)

Duty station: Incheon City, Republic of Korea

Education requirement: (1) enrolled in a graduate school programme; or (2) in the final academic year of undergraduate programme; or (3) graduate of a university degree who can commence the internship within one-year of graduation. (please see job posting for the requirement in detail)

The internship is UNPAID and full time.

[IMPORTANT NEWS] Registration for the 7th Asia Pacific ADR Conference is now open!

With the theme of “Innovating the Future of Dispute Resolution”, this year’s conference will look into the challenges faced by arbitral institutions and its users, review the expedited procedures in arbitration and the Seoul Protocol on Video Conferencing.
