A fruitful meeting was made today with Agritama, a local agriculture venture partner in Bandung, Indonesia.

Agriculture in Indonesia is one of the key sectors of the Indonesian economy.

Today agriculture provides income for the majority of Indonesian households. In 2013, the agricultural sector contributed to 14.43 percent of national GDP.

Beyond surveying and research, it's financial experiment time.

Croperativ dedicates a movement in financing farmer entrepreneurs in Cambodia through equity investing. Last week, the team of Croperativ decided to invest to the first farmer entrepreneur in Siem Reap in sugarcane investing.

The next step would be a series of negotiation and discussion with local banks.

We are unlocking farmer entrepreneurship in Cambodia by doing equity investing, providing farming technique invested farmers need and hence matching them with the market with best price.

It shall be a movement to encourage a more systematic investing to farmer entrepreneurs and achieve a mature pipeline for foreign investment.
