Last week, March 27- 31st 2023, Kmaali Consulting / Kmaali Group, was represented at the inaugural German Training Week - Green Hydrogen (GTW-GH2), by Lemayian Chris Kimojino, our MD/CEO.
The GTW-GH2 hosted by GIZ Kenya (German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology), via the Project Dev Programme (PDP), gave the participants an opportunity to deep dive into GH2. The sessions were very detailed, in-depth, thought-provoking and interactive.

We learnt about the various technologies of making Green Hydrogen, the major techno-commercial factors to make a project viable/bankable, policies/regulations being put in place in Kenya and globally, as well as hearing from a few industry players Siemens Energy and GmbH.

PtoX involves using Green Power/Renewable Power to produce Green Hydrogen and its derivatives, including - Green Ammonia, e-Fuels, e-methanol, SAF, e-methane.

In addition to sectors/industries that could use GH2 such as fertilizer, explosives, green steel, cement manufacturing, amongst others.
