My friend, do not sacrifice your happiness to please someone who does not value you.
Because you don't want to lose someone, you lost yourself in the process. Sometimes, we sacrifice everything, including our value, happiness, and most importantly, our peace, just to hold on to someone who may not even want to be with you. It is important to prioritize our own happiness and well-being above, trying to please someone who does not truly value us.
The fear of losing someone we care about can be overwhelming. It can lead us to make choices that are not aligned with our true selves. We compromise our value to please people, and in the end, we may still find ourselves alone ,but here is the crucial part, sometimes, letting go is the most powerful act of self-love.
Your happiness and inner peace should never be negotiable. It is not selfish to prioritize your well-being. So don't lose yourself to please someone who does not value you just because you don't want to lose them. Sacrificing your own happiness in order to make someone else happy will only lead to feelings of resentment and dissatisfaction and disappointments π.
Remember, you should know your place in people's lives so you don't have to overplay your part and save yourself from heartache and disappointments π. When we invest ourselves, we often set high expectations for how others should treat us, and when those expectations are not met, it can lead to a lot of pain and frustration π.
So, it's important to understand your role in people's lives. That can help you establish boundaries and set expectations, and understanding the dynamics of your relationship can help you manage your expectations better. It allows you to invest your time and energy more wisely, focusing on those who appreciate and reciprocate your effort π.
Lastly, your happiness and well-being should not depend on someone else's validation or attention. Don't be afraid to let go of connections that constantly leave you feeling unfulfilled. Ultimately, understanding your place in people's lives can help you navigate relationships maturely
