Six years ago this April, I set out to help provide women in Molo with a good job, a solid income and develop their skills to produce high quality textile products: Making homes beautiful.
Mango Patch has flourished surpassed all my expectations and is currently a company that also has allowed me to designs its own fabrics. None of this would have been possible without the hardworking ladies and your unwavering support. Thank you!
It has been an amazing journey over the course of six years. Mango Patch has been a great source of income and a provider of change and growth for all our employees.
In our time, we have successfully promoted Mango Patch at various fairs in Kenya and the UK, sold our products alongside other well established franchises, opened our own shop and looked at exporting to the UK. We have had such unimaginable success for a company of our size!
Now with two children in tow and my family now permanently based in Nairobi, promoting Mango Patch, designing and running a business located in Molo with connections in the UK has proved to be more difficult than I imagined.
Regardless of any challenges, Lilian, Sharon, the managers and the rest of our team have been incredible at ensuring that deadlines have been met, standards maintained and a high quality of work produced. There is only so much that I can ask of them and for all those reasons, therefore with great sadness Mango Patch will be closing down by the end of May.
We have come to the end of an era, however lives have been changed and memories made. You have made such a difference to the lives of the ladies of Mango Patch each and every time you bought our products for this we cannot thank you enough.
We hope you are able to cherish your Mango Patch products. If you would like any last minute products before we close, please do send us an email!
