Remove Emotions when making Financial decisions.
Do not buy if you do not see the sense or need for it. We often confuse Insurance with Investments. An Education Plan is not an Investment, it is an assurance that in case of your demise, your child will still go through school. I have heard a ton of people say I lost my money with Insurance and I tell them they never read and understand the terms and conditions of the policy. You probably trusted the word from your friend, relative or former classmate to make them happy but you didn't look out for yourself.
The next time you have to put your money somewhere, do your due diligence and convince yourself that it is worth it!
