"If AWIVEST leads with a narrative of regeneration, legacy, and sovereign wealth-building, it redefines what diaspora investment can be: the deliberate, disciplined, patient work of building prosperity where we come from and for the people we come from."
Coming soon: I recently wrote an investor memo on Global African Trade and Investment for AWIVEST. It summarizes key discussions, considerations, and insights that were shared at GUBA's Trade and Investment Forum with a perspective that privileges the values and priorities of African Women Investors. It also identifies the key strategic partnerships that will support AWIVEST in the launch of AWI 2.0 and the creation of a US-based private equity firm.
Through this report, I'm proud to have offered a critical narrative shift necessary for deploying diaspora capital - one that calls us to redefine the potential of Africa and the Caribbean, and asks us to appreciate wealth through collective prosperity that transcends traditional financial metrics.
