Our History:
INTRODUCTION
The Jared Ruth Nyarsondu Foundation was formed in the year 2012 as a non political,nonprofitable organization under the laws of the Republic of kenya. It was formed after the loss of both our dear parents Ruth Nyarsondu and Jared Odhiambo in the years 2009 and 2011 respectively after the dreadful diabetic attack that left us alone as orphans. VISION
It is because of t
his that we were inspired and it made us have a vision to execute effective community programming by joining up with the community as a whole in forming this foundation to support orphans who have nowhere to turn to. The vision for us is to also prove that the death of parents is not the end of education. The Hope Foundation was also set up with the hope of helping orphaned children get basic education, as well as catering for the girl child needs. THE GOAL
Our main goal is to contribute to the betterment of the community and the child orphan in particular. In a year about 60% of the orphans drop out of school and this is not because of their incapability to do well but due to lack of funds that disables them to go on. The major goal involves reducing the number of orphans dropping out of school by 50% roughly. If this problem is addressed we are sure of a positive outcome in the society at large. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This foundation has a chain of command which involves the Director, Chairman, Secretary, Treasury, the members and ground co-ordinator. As you know most foundations requests funds for a myriad of needs. We have come up with a support team that consists of the founding members of this foundation, who are required to contribute a certain estimated amount every end of the month. We also intend to target the community, government and international sponsors. We plan to use headteachers in schools to identify the needy orphans after which we shall proposel to pay their education fees including cater for their basic needs inclusive of food and clothing in relation to school uniform. They shall also receive all the above needs meet plus regular ground visits from our ground co-ordintor for easy monitoring. The ground co-ordinators major tasks is to visit the individual orphan child's teacher in their individual schools and liace well with the particular teacher who would have already found out what the students needs then rely the message to the members of the foundation to work out on how the particular needs would be meet. OUR VALUES
-Every child is entitled to a basic education.
-Schools are the backbones to obtaining a basic education which is relevant in any community setup and by this it provides a stephold in the community.
-A better educated community has values and resources to inspire growth . OUR FOCUS
Our focus was mainly on providing good education and basic needs to the orphaned child who would drop out of school due to lack of fees. To top this is we are motivated to empower the gal child in every way who is facing numerous challenges in todays world setup. ORGANIZATION OBJECTIVES
-To accord top performing orphaned students an opportunity at acquire good education.
- Support every school girl to successfully complete their education and thus furthering development.
-Set up mechanisms to support rural schools within our communities and ensure they play a rightful role in the development of the community. FOUNDATION ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
All members of this organization are currently doing voluntary services as their are no funds yet to employ permanent employees. To top this all our funds are mainly from our own sources. Director
-Oversees smooth running of the foundation
-Seeks grants and finances to run the foundation
Chairman
-He chairs the foundation meeting
-Oversees the smooth selection of beneficiaries
-Advises the director on resourcing for funds as needed
-Directly reports to the director
Secretary
-Takes minutes deriving from the meetings
-Handles all the paperwork of the foundation
-Reports to the chairman and director
Treasurer
-Handles all the finances of the company and keeps a detailed record of every moneys into the organizaton.
-Consults the chairman and director on any financial matter
Ground co-ordinator
-Co-ordintes with the particular school to identify the needs of each beneficiary
-Co-ordinates to the chairman to select the beneficiaries
-Has to visit the beneficiaries on a weekly basis

OUR APPROACH
The Ruth Jared foundation targets schools around the Ramba location and views them as the key elements to initiating and sustaining change for a better development in an individual and in the society at large. BUDGET PLAN. We want to give you an overview of our project plan which reflects from mostly our member contribution funding. For staters we have already identified some students of whom we are currently funding for their education needs plus basic. Below is a basic structure of how we intend to do so

-To work hand in hand with more schools around the regions providing their necessities that will aid in good quality education
-We intend to aim at sharpening skills of rural and primary schools and as well as recognizing outstanding students and rewarding them profusely.
-We hope to Set up centres for empowering girl child access to information that can help improve her livelihood.
-We intend to get web connected and fully established throughout the diaspora
