Former captain of Harambee Stars, Victor Wanyama has officially announced his retirement from competitive football.

“Today, I announce my retirement from football. From playing in four different countries and representing six clubs, to being a boy from Muthurwa with a big dream, I carried a nation’s pride every time I stepped onto the pitch. I thank my family, friends, agent, fans and all the coaches who supported me throughout my journey,”
