The Client Protection Certification is an independent, third-party evaluation that provides an objective seal confirming that financial services are delivered to clients in a safe, responsible, and fair manner, ensuring that products and services do no harm. The Social and Environmental Rating assesses financial institutions’ ability to effectively implement their mission and achieve tangible social and environmental outcomes.
Here’s what qualifies them as Top-Rated:
✅ SER (>sBB): Adequate, Good, or Excellent social performance management and client protection systems. Alignment with and achievement of the mission are rated as Satisfactory, Likely, or Highly Likely.
✅ CPC (Gold Level): Is the highest level of achievement and signifies that the certified institution meets the rigorous Client Protection standards outlined in the Universal Standards for Social and Environmental Performance Management.
These recognitions confirm that financial institutions have effectively aligned with internationally recognized standards and demonstrate excellence through client-centered decision-making, strong social and environmental performance, and responsible practices, setting a benchmark across the industry.
