The irony of this picture kills me 😂👇🏼

I’m wearing a cheapo leather jacket from Ackermans (bought two days before our trip—it immediately became my whole personality), sipping the most expensive coffee I’ve ever had (and definitely couldn’t afford), while posing in front of a Prada store I’ll probably never step into.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned as a CFO for multi-million dollar companies is this: things can look incredibly successful and glamorous from the outside, but that’s (dare I say, most times?) far from the whole truth.

I’ve worked with entrepreneurs driving Ferraris who are hundreds of thousands in debt. Business owners with a million followers on Instagram who can’t even pay themselves a salary yet.

We all know social media is a highlight reel—but I hope this picture is a reminder that appearances don’t tell the full story. So many people, even the seemingly wealthy, are quietly hustling behind the scenes, just trying to make ends meet.
