The governing body of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Public Higher Secondary School is ‘Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Shaikshanik Vikas Samiti’. From the foundation of the Samiti in 1981, there is a committee (then called ‘the Committee of Management’) set up to act as governing body. Sardar Rajendra Singh Dang , Sardar Hardayal Singh and the other founders of the Samiti , together with other members made up
the governing body at that stage. The School started with a seedling planted by the Samiti, it grew like a plant in few years and now it is like a huge tree. Samiti runs following Schools

The governing body has remained the body responsible for the general governance of the schools, for its direction and financial good state, and it appoints the Principal who reports and is responsible to it. It also seeks to support the Principal, staff, and students in their work.
