The theme for International Yoga Day of 2022 is “Yoga for Humanity”. This is intended at bringing to light the physical, mental and emotional state of people. This year the theme has been decided to keep in mind the important role that yoga has been playing in dealing with COVID-19. Involving yourself in Yoga not only benefits the mind and body but also instills love and compassion towards one another.

Organic Recycling Systems Pvt. Ltd. has been conducting Corporate Yoga Session for our team under the guidance of Yogi Sachin Ji since January 2022. Making Corporate Yoga Exercises a part of your routine can work wonders as they wipe away body pain, fatigue and tension and increase overall muscle strength and flexibility, keeping you fresh and revitalized through the day. The exercises don’t demand much time, and can be done in spurts throughout the day, sparing you from unnecessary discomfort in the long run.

Initiative towards inclusive society & work culture
“Gender Equality Today For Sustainable Tomorrow”

Solapur Municipal Corporation, Commissioner of Police & Kranti Mahila Sangh has undertaken an innovative initiative called “Swabhiman Employment Pattern” to provide permanent employment to economically & socially stressed women & transgender in the district by raising them on their own feet with self-respect. This employment initiative and tree planting program under “Majhi Vasaundhara” initiated by Govt. of Maharashtra was inaugurated by Police Commissioner Harish Baijal and in the presence of Municipal Commissioner and Administrator P. Shivshankar, Deputy Commissioner Dhanraj Pandey at Solapur Bio-Energy plant on Tuljapur Road, Solapur city. Assistant Commissioner Vikram Patil, Vice President of Mahila Kranti Sangh Renuka Jadhav was also present for the occasion.
Every being has the right to live a dignified life, to progress and it is important to bring them into the mainstream of society. Solapur Bio-Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Solapur Municipal Corporation, Commissioner of Police & Kranti Mahila Sangh strives for the advancement of transgender and economically & socially stressed women to enables them to live a dignified life. In the first phase, ten women and one supervisor have been selected on the basis of job requirement and minimum skills. All of them will be given 3 months job training by Solapur Bio-Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd.

On 15th March 2022, third year diploma Civil Engineering students of Government Polytechnic, Solapur visited our plant at Solapur Bio-Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd., one of are integrated facility. A group of almost 50 students with 2 teaching faculty visited our solid waste management plant for educational purpose.
The objective of the activity revolved around educating students about the industrial setup, operations, production process of prominent companies. The industrial visit organized at Solapur Bio-Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd. talks about where and how the solid waste is collected, the segregation process, the overall production of electricity & compost and the career opportunities with company and the sector.
The industrial visit was followed by question and answer round. The visit was a great learning experience for the students where they could get an understanding of the entire MSW processing and for those who are looking at making their career in this sector.
We are proud & looking forward to the future generation who are keen to pursue their career in the solid waste sector.
