Total bank deposits is 185 -190 lac crore

In most developed nations MFs are bigger than bank deposits.

India too will see this in next 10-15 years. this space will grow at 20% + CAGR

AMCs, depositories, Wealth management , broking is a very secular space for long term.

We need transmission line network of Rs 2.4 lakh cr. to be set up before renewable energy capacity gets commissioned

Implications -
This will result in order award of Rs 25000 cr. per year- over & above existing planned expansion Rs 1.2 lac cr. by Inter State Transmission Systems (ISTS) until FY26e

Energy and ancillaries is a BIG theme this decade.

May 2021: market cap hits $3 trillion

Nov 2023: $4 trillion

This $1 trillion was led by PSUs, auto, capital goods, and defense.

2030: The market will be $8–9 trillion

The next 4–5 trillion will have more manufacturing, energy, digital engineering, and AI. Every bull run has a change of leadership.

Focus on this and not on whether Nifty is already ATH :)

I spent a productive day in Indore meeting clients, SME promoters, and friends. 3 observations

1. Business sentiment and order flow are strong. Efforts are being made towards cleaner books and tax compliance.

2. Growing equity cult. The only issue is that everyone wants small and microcaps more :)

3. Some GST rationalization is needed in event management and professional services, which earlier had a lower service tax. A lot of cash is still being given to saving 18% GST. For example, the wedding industry.

Next 50 L ~ 4 years
Then only ~3 years

After 20 years, you add almost 50 L+ every year.
