“Never save what is left after spending, spend what is left after saving” – Warren Buffet
Many of us fail to understand the value of investment or realize it when it is already too late. To demystify the supposedly herculean task of investment and encourage the students to invest in the capital market, Finance Forum has taken an initiative of launching SAMNIDHY, Student Managed Investment Fund. T
he students will invest in the fund and also come up with an investment plan. The plan will be screened by the Advisory Committee, post which it will be implemented if in case it is accepted by the Advisory Committee. SAMNIDHY has been articulated and regulated by strict guidelines and procedures to make it infallible and less risky. The students will also develop an understanding of the macroeconomic factors and the affect they have on the various industries and the numerous stocks in the industry. It helps them get a hands-on experience on the capital market and understand the theoretical concepts of finance through practical applications. The fund is deeply aligned with the vision of TAPMI: Learning by Doing.
