Many Upper Middle Class Educated Customers would be interested to invest in PPF than LIC POLICY. Today, Im going to give you CRYSTAL-CLEAR Comparison between PPF & JEEVAN UMANG the knowledge
Assume a Client aged 40 years invests Rs.1,50,000 every year in PPF for 15 years. At the end of 15th year, his PPF returns would be Rs.44 Lacs (assuming 8%). If he invests that 44 Lacs in a BANK FD, he is assured of Rs.1,75,000 Yearly Income which is TAXABLE. On his demise, his Nominee would get back 44 Lacs.
Now, the same Rs.1,50,000 invested in LIC's UMANG Policy for 15 Years (SA: 19 LACS) will fetch him Rs.1,50,000 Annual Income (TAX-FREE) till age 100 Guaranteed. Apart from that, his NOMINEE would be getting upto Rs.1,30,00,000 (1.3 Crore) return from LIC on the death of the Policyholder at advanced age.
