CAUTION

Someone has again made a fake FB profile by the name of "Stock Finance Mentor". It's a fake profile which has used my photo hence request you not to accept any friend request or join any wa group invite from the mentioned profile.

Being a finance professional some words of caution:

1. Never accept any friend request from someone who is already there on your friend list or you know him/her personally. Atleast verify once from the person by texting or making a call.

2. If you receive a friend request from someone who is not in your friendlist atleast check whether you know the person through some common friends or not. Better to avoid friend request from a completely unknown person.

3. The intention to make a fake profile to ask money or invite for a scam which will end up in monetary loss for you.

4. How will you understand a fake profile?

The profile will be new and have very less chance to have any posts which are older.

5. Even if there are posts, they will not be relevant means, there might be some abrupt photos of flowers, hills, animals or the person but will not have any genuine content.

6. The fraudster will most likely send an invite immediately in your messenger to join a group.

7. Report immediately as fake.

Steps
1. Go to three dots (...) on the right side of the profile. Click on that and then click on the report as fake.

This is a very serious issue and you should be alert while accepting any friend request in FB/WA or opening any link. The scam is bigger than you can think of. It can take away your hard earned money and you can do nothing.

Please be a responsible citizen and make yourself and others aware about the same.

I have just come to know that some of you have received a friend request from a fake profile namely 'Stock Trader Souvik'.
Please don't accept any friend request and ignore messages sent from the profile.
