Sometimes, a sky of hopes, Sometimes, a burden of despair, Sometimes, we ride the steed of joy,
Sometimes, engulfed in darkness, despair.
We are imprisoned in our own cage,
Bound by the chains we create,
Who else could truly hold us captive?
We ourselves become our own restraints.
They say that movement is the way of life,
Its currents rise, its currents fall,
But why carry such a weight within,
That we die while living at all?
No one else will truly understand;
We must learn to understand ourselves, my friend.
Just look a little within,
And become our own light.
