RuralFund

RuralFund RuralFund is proud to present the "RuralFund Fellowship Programme" which empowers students to launch for-profit mini ventures in rural India.

Rural Fund Fellowship empowers the students to launch for-profit mini ventures by doing leadership and strategy internships with social startups. Through this, college students spend a summer launching a sustainable business in the community and the community enjoys monetary benefits of an established business. Rural Fund targets either impoverished or socially backward communities, i.e. communiti

es in need. The nature of Rural Fund allows it to address all sub categories of society, as long as they are in need. As Rural Fund is an aggregation of multiple sub projects led by students in India, the class of society addressed is as diverse as the projects. Our projects are targeted at communities in need, agnostic of their economic profiles. Generally, these communities tend to be impoverished, and through successful projects, Rural Fund can alleviate the poverty, and by extension a host of other social issues arising out of poverty.

Congratulations to the Rural Fund Fellows (Summer Class of 2014)! :)
