The objective of this page is to create a platform and bring people together and share thoughts and ideas about cost effective and hassle free way of buying / constructing a home - the dream that most of us carry.

Would like to start with a small example. Today the going rate for flats in sholinganallur hovers around INR 5800/ sft (without factoring in the interest outflow). Whereas in group construction the price would be in the range of 4800/- to 4900/sft.

Does is sound interesting???

Group Construction & Practical Challenges:

As the name suggests, it’s the process of a group of people coming together to buy / construct a house. This has been prevalent and lot of people have been benefited with the advantages like low cost, higher levels of customization etc.

However, some of the practical challenges in executing this are:

• Land identification
• Liquidity for land procurement
