🐾 FEB–MID APRIL 2026 | GIFV IMPACT 🐾

Sharing a glimpse of a few rescued animals, out of a total of 27 rescues supported by GIFV over the past two month!
Because of our kind donors, many community animals fighting every day to survive on the streets were given a second chance at life. 🤍

But let’s be honest,the rescues are not a reflection of our great work but it's a reality which can be avoided if humans become more humane and empathetic towards voiceless animals!

Hope humans understand what we call “human-animal conflict” is often a result of our own actions.

Urbanisation,land encroachment along with human insensitivity and the entitlement to own the earth push the animals into fear, hunger, and stress.
And when they react…they are blamed.

They cannot speak.
They can't fend for themselves
They cannot ask for help.
Yet they suffer and pay the price. 😢

But there is hope.....
In people who choose kindness.
In those who step in to care, heal, and protect.

This quarter, because of such people who come together as a team to reach out to needy animals,lives were saved. 🙏♥️

January 2026 - Voice of the voiceless

Here are glimpses of the rescue activities carried out this January …
each life touched, each wound treated, each hungry belly fed — made possible because of the unwavering support of our family.

But this post is not just about rescue.
It’s about who we become in the process.

In a world increasingly driven by material pursuits, comparison, ego clashes, and self-centered battles… empathy is quietly fading. Compassion is becoming rare.

And yet…

When we lift an injured pup from the roadside,
When we sit beside a frightened abandoned soul,
When we choose kindness over indifference !

Something shifts inside us.

We often say, “We are helping them.”
But the truth is ,they are helping us stay human.

They teach us:
✨ To care without conditions
✨ To give without expecting recognition
✨ To feel beyond ourselves
✨ To choose compassion over convenience

These voiceless beings do not care about our wealth, status, or achievements. They respond only to love. And in loving them, we protect the most fragile thing left in society -“humanity”.

Every rescue is not just saving an animal.
It is resisting indifference.
It is choosing empathy over ego.
It is keeping compassion alive.

We may not post often, but we’re always on the ground — rescuing, feeding, healing, and loving those who have no one else. Because we believe our work will always reach the genuine hearts meant to see it. 🌿

Total Support Extended for Rescues: ₹7,28,730/-
Total Animals Reached (Rescues + ABC): 83 voiceless souls 🐾🐾

As we look back on this year, our heart fills with gratitude and humility. 🙏 Every rescued animal, every healed wound, and every life saved has been possible only because of a handful of deeply compassionate people who chose to care for helpless street animals! That's our incredible volunteer members and rescuers . 💕

At GIFV we may not have fancy infrastructure or big sponsors and we may not be regulars on social media too!because we truly believe that the work we do reaches the genuine hearts of real supporters, whose compassion is steady, sincere, and strong. 🌿

Each rescue we take up, each ABC case- all of it comes from a place of love and faith that every life matters. But rescue work is tough as we all know,emotionally, physically, and financially. Our volunteers stretch their time, energy, and resources every single day to ease the sufferings of mute animals, often at personal cost. 💔

And yet, what keeps this mission alive is people like you,the animal lovers who care, share, and stand by us. 🙏

I had made this appeal on 22/10/2014. It's unfortunate that we have to repeat such kinds of appeals even today ...after10 yrs! as the public awareness towards street animals sufferings is very much at the basic level.
The festival is fast approaching ,kindly start sensitising people about the noise effects and the trauma animals go through during DEEPAVALI. Our celebration shouldn't be at the cost of their sufferings.
