In the Mahabharata, Guru Dronacharya once tested his students by asking them to aim at a bird sitting on a tree. Before allowing them to shoot, he asked each student what they saw. One said he saw the tree, the bird, and the sky. Another mentioned seeing the branches, leaves, and the entire surroundings. But when Arjuna was asked, he simply said, "I see only the bird's eye."
Dronacharya smiled and asked him to shoot. The arrow struck the target perfectly. Arjuna's ability to block out distractions and focus on the goal made him the greatest archer of all time.
