🎯 Monasterevin Credit Union is proud to support local sporting talent! 🇮🇪

We are delighted to celebrate the incredible achievements of Portarlington darts prodigy Eoin Roche, whose passion for the sport began at just five years old, playing on a dartboard in his grandad’s shed.

More than a decade of dedication, hard work and determination has seen Eoin rise through the ranks of youth darts, culminating in the proud moment of representing Ireland at the World Youth Darts Championship in Gibraltar.

Competing against some of the best young players from across the world, Eoin delivered a fantastic performance, reaching the last 16 of the competition after impressive victories over opponents from Scotland, Northern Ireland, England and Hungary.

Speaking about his journey, Eoin reflected on the pride he felt wearing the Irish jersey:

"One of the best feelings you can have is to represent your country."

His success is a testament to the importance of commitment, community support and having the opportunity to pursue your passion. From his early days at Ballyroan Darts School to competing on the international stage, Eoin continues to show the dedication and talent that makes him one of Ireland’s most exciting young players.

Everyone at Monasterevin Credit Union wishes Eoin continued success as he sets his sights on the YDS Grand Finals and future opportunities to represent Ireland.

🚗⚡ Thinking about making the switch to an Electric Vehicle?

Great news! The Government has announced the new ICE2EV Scheme, launching on 1 July 2026, with €10 million in funding to help drivers trade in older, higher-emission vehicles for a brand-new electric vehicle.

Eligible applicants can receive:
✅ €5,000 through the new ICE2EV Scheme
✅ €3,500 through the existing SEAI EV Grant

That's up to €8,500 in support towards your new EV!

To qualify, your current vehicle must:
🔹 Be registered in your name for at least 12 months
🔹 Be a 2013 model or older
🔹 Have a valid NCT (or expired by no more than 6 months)
🔹 Have been taxed and insured during the previous 6 months
