New SEAI research published last week confirms that home values rise by an average of 2.7% for every step up the BER scale. In rural areas that figure rises to 4.7% per step up.

Local authorities inspected 4,315 farms under GAP regulations last year, with 2,935 enforcement actions taken, 68% higher than the year before. Of those inspected, 43% were found to be non compliant.

The most common issues were uncontrolled runoff from farmyard manure, inadequate gutters and downpipes, poor clean and dirty water separation and slurry management.

Four in ten Irish drivers want to go electric but say the upfront cost is stopping them.

The Carzone 2026 Motoring Report found upfront price is the single biggest barrier to switching to an EV for Irish drivers. The €3,500 SEAI grant can help but if there's still a gap, that's where Greenify's Transport loan comes in.

Congratulations to everyone receiving their Leaving Cert results today. Whatever your results, we hope you’re proud of what you’ve achieved and excited for the next chapter. 💙🧡

And if you’re heading off to college, starting a PLC, continuing your studies or beginning an apprenticeship, there’s another reason to celebrate! 🎉

💰 12 students and apprentices will each receive €1,500 in the Credit Union Plus Student & Apprentice Prize Draw!

College students of any year of study, including PLC, Masters and PhD students, as well as apprentices of any year, can apply.

To enter, you must be a Credit Union Plus member before 31 July and meet the eligibility requirements.

SEAI currently offers up to €300 towards an eligible home EV charger. It's important not to begin the installation before your SEAI grant offer is issued, or the work won't qualify for grant support.

Newly published CSO figures show 7,216 new electric cars were licensed in July, up 82% on July 2025. EVs now account for 26% of new private cars licensed so far this year.
