👏🏆Congrats to Clare Hehir who was selected as the Clare Credit Unions / The Clare Echo Player of the Match in the recent Clare Credit Unions Senior Championship Final. Clare was instrumental in her club Inagh/Kilnamona Camogie securing the title following their 2-14 to 1-14 win over Truagh Camogie Club after extra time in the final.

Clare is the county’s sole nominee for a PWC Camogie All-Star Award. We wish her well at the Awards Night taking place in Croke Park on November 15. Best of luck Clare 🤞

Well done to Laura Foley of Truagh / Clonlara Camogie Club who was a recent Player of the Round winner in the Clare Credit Union's Senior Club Camogie Championship. Laura is pictured collecting her award from Majella O'Brien of Derg Credit Union.

IT was the game of the round which drew the performance of the weekend as Truagh/Clonlara’s Laura Foley collects the Clare Credit Unions/The Clare Echo player of the week.

They came from six points down at half-time to defeat rivals Scariff/Ogonnelloe and it was their big names that stood tall to help them to a precious one point victory.

Chief among them was Laura in the middle third, not alone was she smart in her use of possession but she popped with the match-winning score to keep the champions on track for a return to the big day.

A PERSONAL tally of 1-12 from Aoibhin Ryan saw her set the way in the second round of the Clare senior camogie championship to be named as the Clare Credit Unions/The Clare Echo player of the week.

Congrats to Sinead Power of Inagh / Kilnamona who was recently selected as the Player of the Round in the first round of the Clare Credit Unions Senior Clare Camogie Championship. Noelle Darcy and Sharon Foley of Ennistymon & District Credit Union Ltd were delighted to present Sinead with her prize of a voucher from Torpeys.

INAGH/KILNAMONA hit the ground running in the senior camogie championship and helping them to do so was Sinead Power who is the Clare Credit Unions/The Clare Echo player of the week.
