Actually, Barokah Effector is born long time before the company is settled. But the opportunity to organize into a new company can be done in early 2013. Although there are many companies that make guitar gear out there, we strive to provide the best of us. And we never felt too late to start all of this, because we have a clear goal about what we do. Not just clone it and sell at a price (in our
opinion) is not appropriate. Talking about myself, I never imagined I would go this far in this guitar equipment world. But to be honest, I was not too surprised because since I was child I’d like to inventing, so i spend my childhood time in my father's working room which is integrated to his rehearsal room for band practicing (it’s just messy place with several working tools, not kind of luxury workshop that you may imagine...) fix things, tweaking, and sometimes I get failed. I wish I can back to that moment. The Name
“Barokah” is came from our Indonesian language which means it is a Blessing. The name was born because it reflects what we felt all along about how God will never disappoint us, and what God has given us is a tremendous blessing. We believe that what God gave us doesn’t belong to us alone. Therefore we want you also can feel what we feel. The Quality
Although efficiency cost (not cheap !!!) is our issue, but we put quality in front of another things. We had our components supplier from around the world, including local suppliers (which is follow by our standard). We care much all of our pedals to use only the highest quality, close tolerance parts, to ensure decades of hassle free use. All of our pedals are hand-stuffed, hand-soldering, and hand-wired here in our workshop in Indonesia. Each of them is inspected and tested carefully before being packed and shipped around the world, with the priority attention paid to detail, build quality, and also for their durabillity.
