225D Építésziroda Kft 225D Építésziroda Kft is a BIM architecture office in Pécs. The 225D Építésziroda Kft. is a permanent partner of Trimble.

Our company was among the first offices in Hungary which started to use BIM modeling. We work on different type of international projects from mostly the USA, we have the chance to see great investments and follow the planning and construction of airports, hospitals, laboratories, residential buildings, universities, galleries etc. Our tasks:

MEP Design: The Mechanical-Electrical-Plumbing system

s are modeled according to received plans. The conflicts will be reported to avoid construction failures. MEP coordination: The MEP systems are modeled from the received plans. These systems have to be coordinated against each other and the structural model. Architectural Design: The structural and architectural elements are modeled according to the received design plans. We digitally build and report construction defects.

2D: Every type of sheets can be created of the built up architectural, structural or MEP models.

4D-5D: To simulate the construction. Point cloud remodeling: With a point cloud we model the existing condition of buildings. Virtual construction

One of our recent projects is to coordinate electrical conduits and equipment to an existing building with other trades already built, all mapped in a point cloud. Working on different platforms (for example Revit, Navis and AutoCAD) parallel can be challenging, but a good process helps to complete the coordination especially if a sharp accurate point cloud is available.

The scan to 3D project Woodhaven is a residential building in the USA. The task was to create a simple, less detailed model with architectural and structural elements. Small rooms, hidden walls, and ceilings, staircases made our tasks challenging. The model was finished in a week.

Today we've had a chance to try the Microsoft HoloLens, a holographic device. HoloLens is still in development stage, but already useful for wandering around in for example a 3D model. One step further in digital visualization in architecture. Of course, HoloLens can and will be used in many different areas in the future.

By our old partner Trimble the 225D coordinated the design MEP model for the renovation of Everitt Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

The building, located in the USA. The first design phase began in Fall 2014. The construction will be finished in Spring of 2018. Our project includes only the MEP design model coordination besides the whole building will be renovated. Our biggest challange on this project was to coordinate a given design model on 5 Levels.
