And this is how 25 thirteen year olds at Canadian International School showed me what it truly means to “trust the process”! 😳 🤩 😍

Still in absolute awe and total disbelief that we not only pulled this off, but it looks a 100x better than it did even in my imagination!!

From conceptualising, to learning about mandalas, to drawing them for the first time (all on one day) and then painting them and creating these details on this otherwise plain corridor (all on the second day) - these kids did it all in JUST 12 hours spread over 2 days!!!! I mean WHATTTTT!!!

Thank you for this beautifully thorough article on my work, for covering every aspect my life, faith, journey and challenges along the way over the last 2 decades 🫶🏼

Seeing this wonderful feature, after having just taken up Sara’s Henna fulltime again since just 5 months, truly reminds me that I am EXACTLY where I need to be, following my path and my purpose with total and absolute clarity and for that I have nothing but gratefulness 🥹😌🫠

I truly love creating art that sparks joy and wonder. Last night at a private event at the we had so much fun with this gorgeous glow in the dark neck piece! No prep, no drawings, just full freedom to create a Live Henna Art piece in a blacklit glowing world created by !

That is the magic of this tool: you can fill that tiny cone with anything and produce the most wondrous Henna Art—the term I use to describe the art form itself, not the actual Mehendi or henna paste.

Have no doubt, Henna paste is the natural, greenish-brown paste (nothing else) but Henna Art is so much broader: it’s about crafting intricate patterns with the cone. Now whether you fill it with body paint, glow paint, acrylic paint, icing, Nutella, or moulding paste, the sky is the limit & The world is your canvas! 🎨

Had such a blast with the lovely and recording for their .hk CIBS Voices of Change program; empowering HK’s Minority communities by highlighting individuals who have chosen the less conventional career paths.

We chatted about all things henna, culture, community & empowerment, and how a social platform can be such a useful tool when used for causes that are close to your heart.

Thank you for having me on your show 🧡 You girls are incredible and it makes me so happy to see the youth of today really taking charge and using such platforms to spread awareness about our culture and identity as HK’s ethnic minorities!
