The Problem: You need to apply for credit but banks in the Caribbean are hesitant to Lend. You need money to borrow money... you need property to get a mortgage... sounds kind of crazy... but banks need to protect their interests and financial security... How do we solve the problem.
The Answer: Caricom Credit Bureau. We make it easy for banks and stores to make informed decisions about extending credit, and we allow consumers and borrowers to ensure their ability to pay and their history of paying their bills on time is recorded and available to lenders.
This is not a new idea, but an idea whose time has come for CARICOM. Join us as we work to build our own Credit Bureau. This initiative will ensure economic viability for our region and EXPAND OUR HORIZONS!!!
