At Sant Pau Hospital in Barcelona, 45,000 ceramic pieces woven into the Flexbrick® system shape the entire building envelope—façades, roofs, pergolas, and ceilings.

The terracotta exterior reflects the site’s historic architecture, while the glazed interior references its iconic Modernist domes. Beyond aesthetics, the system helps regulate solar radiation, creating a dynamic interplay of light, shadow, and performance throughout the day.
