Since 1980 Nawec installed a borehole to serve the communities in lower niumi district with clean and save water.
Seven villages in lower niumi use our natural resource(Water) and yet still the village encounter numerous challenges to access water.

We have seen that kanuma village is use as a gateway to serve other villages in the district.
Moreover we have been also encountering several times that the little water we access is also been contaminated due to many pipes being spoiled and not repaired.
We are calling on NAWEC to urgently restored all damaged pipes to access clean and save water.
