His real name is Adeyinka Shoyemi, popularly known as Adeyinka Grandson.
In 2022, he was jailed for 4 years and 6 months in the UK. Why?
The UK court found him guilty of inciting racial hatred and terrorism. He used social media to call for the killing and wiping out of millions of Igbos living in Yoruba land.
He openly called for Igbos to be poisoned, their properties to be burnt, and their lives to be terminated. The UK government said this is not freedom of speech, it is TERRORISM.
Today, the same people who follow his ideology are back. They are making the same threats:
"We will poison Igbos' food, water and air"
"We pray Yorubas do more killing of Igbos in Yoruba land"
"We will use chemical weapons on Igbos"
They always wish to kpai millions of Ndi Igbo like Awolowo did during the war.
The big question: what exactly did igbos do wrong to yoruba people?
We have asked this question many times.
The only answer we always get is: "Igbos came to Lagos, bought lands and properties in Lagos."
So because an Igbo man used his hard-earned money to buy land in Lagos, legally, with his money, he deserves to die?
Lagos is in Nigeria. Nigeria's constitution says every Nigerian can live, work and buy property in any part of Nigeria. Yorubas also live and buy properties in Enugu, Onitsha, Aba, Port Harcourt and Abuja. Does that mean they should be killed too?
Igbos did not steal Lagos land. They bought it. From Yoruba land owners. With receipt. With C of O.
If you have problem with Igbos buying lands, hold your people who sold the lands, not the buyer.
Ndi Igbo are not in competition with Yorubas. We are all Nigerians. We inter-marry. We do business together.
This hatred is being pushed by a few frustrated individuals who have no achievement of their own, so they use tribalism to feel relevant.
We call on the Federal Government to treat these people the same way UK treated Adeyinka Grandson. Arrest them. Jail them. Tribal hatred is terrorism.
Ohaneze Ndigbo, wake up! Your people are being threatened daily.
