When to consider a loan

1. To grow your business
If the loan will help you buy stock, equipment, or expand in a way that should earn more than the loan costs (interest + fees).

2. For emergencies
Medical bills, urgent repairs, or essential family needs—especially if you don’t have savings.

3. To buy an important asset
For example, land, a vehicle for work, or equipment that will generate income.

4.To consolidate expensive debt
If you can replace several high-interest debts with one lower-interest loan.

5. When you can comfortably repay it
Ask yourself:
Do I have a stable income?
Can I repay even if business slows down?
Is the monthly repayment less than about 30–40% of my disposable income?
