The Volta Youth Development Fund (VYDF) proudly recognizes Hon. James Gunu, Volta Regional Minister, as the Father of the Fund, the visionary mind whose commitment gave birth to an initiative dedicated to empowering young people across the Volta Region.

From the Fund’s launch on 7th March 2026, to its official launch on 20th April 2026, and the subsequent constitution of the Board of Trustees, his leadership has continued to provide direction for this important mission.

His personal contribution of GHS 20,000 and commitment to contribute 10% of his salary monthly demonstrate a remarkable personal investment in the future of our youth.

We say AYEKOO! for believing in the youth, leading the way, and helping build a legacy that will impact generations.
