Human Resource Officer
Reports To
Reports To: HR Manager
Location : East Legon
Key Responsibilities
• Implement Human Resources policies and procedures in line with approved rules and regulations of the company.
• Monitor the actual Head Count of employees of the company and prepare monthly manning reports for review by Assistant HR Manager and update the manning register.
• Provide the necessary support in the recruitment processes (e.g. shortlist of applicants, arrangement of logistics, etc.) in accordance with approved HR polices/ procedures.
• Monitor all contracts and temporary engagements in line with approved HR policies/procedures and related labour regulations as directed.
• Process employees’ Personnel Actions including re-imbursable claims (e.g. leave, sick offs, medical, advances/loans, etc.) for approval in line with established policy guidelines.
• Handle/respond to HR operational enquiries from employees of the within prescribed limits of authority.
• Liaise with Directorates/Departments to ensure that the placement, orientation and probationary period of new employees are strictly adhered to.
• Maintain and update Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) in accordance with directives.
• Maintain/update employee records and files.
• Collate data on salary/benefits survey and provide support on related payroll functions.
• Conduct training needs analysis and coordinate/support in the administration and management of training programmes.
• Monitor and report on the activities of training providers and institutions.
• Provide support in the implementation of the Performance Management System.
• Provide support in the organization of staff durbars and other staff welfare activities.
• Prepare monthly/periodic HR Reports for review/approval by Superior Officer.
• Perform any other duty(s) assigned by Superior Officer.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Degree Holders:
Education/Experience
• Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
• Three (3) years relevant working experience.
HND Holders:
Education/Experience
• HND in Human Resource Management or related field.
• Six (6) years relevant working experience.
