In a bid to foster team spirit, and some good ol' healthy competition, our employees traded their desks for soccer fields, unleashing their inner football maestros in a showdown for the ultimate! 🏆🌐

From spectacular goals to gravity-defying saves, the match was a rollercoaster of thrills and spills. The cheers echoed through the various fields as coworkers turned into teammates, displaying skills that left us all in awe. ⚡🙌

But it wasn't just about the goals and saves – it was a celebration of unity and collaboration. Laughter echoed louder than the referee's whistle, and the friendly banter between the teams created memories that will last a lifetime. 🤣👏

In Accra, team Head Office emerged winners, beating the Asylum Down branch by 5 goals to 4, with Faisal being awarded Man of the Match, Goal King going to Ken and the Goal Queen being Elikem.

In Kumasi, the Ahodwo Branch beat their sister branch, Amakom by 5 goals to 4, Man of the match being Razak Abdul and the Goal king; Eric Bimpong whilst in Sunyani, the UENR team beat the Allianz team and finally, Takoradi’s team A tied with team B in a 2-2 draw. 🤝💪

A huge shoutout to everyone who participated, cheered, and contributed to the success of this event! 🎊👏

On Monday, 29th January 2024, we held our annual sales conference in Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana. This conference is an annual ritual of the Allianz Retail Sales as it serves as a period to review the previous year’s performance and strategize for the new year amid fun and learning opportunities.

Mrs. Jane Kitome, General Manager, Distribution opened the ceremony. She mentioned the theme for the day; “Achieving Profitability – The Role of the Sales Executive”. She also welcomed all attendees to the ceremony, congratulated the awardees, and implored the entire sales team to keep working harder.
The Special Guest of Honour at the ceremony was Mr. Gideon Ataraire, CEO of Allianz Life Insurance. Before his presentation, he congratulated the entire sales team for their invaluable contribution to the business as he expressed his immense pride in all awardees. He spoke on the theme for the day and updated the attendees on the performance of the company in the past year as well as the progress of the joint venture (JV) between Sanlam and Allianz. His take-home message to the attendees for 2024 was to keep working hard and stay focused amid the JV.
Also speaking at the ceremony was Mrs. Wendy Ellis Koomson, the Head of Agency Strategy and Sales Support. In her presentation, she highlighted the purpose of the Awards session and shared the planned incentives for 2024.
There were a total of 11 awardees with 3 taking home multiple awards. Notable amongst them was Winfred Perseus Adorku, who took home 5 cash awards. In his speech to attendees, he mentioned the importance of maintaining a good relationship with customers as a key contributor to his success. He also encouraged the Sales team to be self-disciplined and determined to succeed in their career.

A hearty congratulations to the awardees who swept various awards in different categories. We wish them nothing but the very best in the years ahead. The sky is indeed your limit!

*ALLIANZ LIFE 2023 H2 SALES AWARDS CEREMONY & CONFERENCE*

On Monday, 29th January 2024, we held our annual sales conference in Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana. This conference is an annual ritual of the Allianz Retail Sales as it serves as a period to review the previous year's performance and strategize for the new year amid fun and learning opportunities.

This year’s event saw 11 awardees covering Sales Executive of the year and the highest premium among others.
