Strong partnerships remain a key driver of sustainable business growth and national development.

Our Executive Director, Digital Banking, together with the Group Executive, Treasury & Financial Institutions, led a high-level engagement with the leadership of the Ghana Gold Board, where they met the Chief Executive Officer, Samuel Gyamfi, to explore strategic partnership opportunities and business support solutions for GoldBod, aggregators, and players across the gold value chain.

The discussions focused on how innovative financial solutions, digital banking capabilities, treasury services, trade facilitation, and value-chain financing can support the continued transformation of Ghana’s gold ecosystem.

As Ghana strengthens reforms within the gold trading sector through GoldBod — with a strong focus on traceability, formalisation, value addition, foreign exchange generation, and sustainable growth — partnerships between financial institutions and key industry stakeholders will be critical in unlocking greater economic opportunities.

Gold remains one of Ghana’s most strategic economic assets, and collaborative engagements such as this reaffirm our commitment to supporting businesses, empowering value-chain actors, and contributing meaningfully to national development.

Together, we build stronger ecosystems.
Together, we drive growth.
